Hot Yoga Posture Clinic - Feb 25th, 2-5pm

Hot Yoga is a powerful tool that can help you to detoxify your body, lose weight, increase lean muscle, improve flexibility, focus your mind and honour your spirit.  Join Louise as she takes you on a step-by-step journey through the hot postures to ensure you have a solid understanding and safe expression of each pose.

Yin Yoga Posture Clinic - February 26th, 2-5pm

This ‘Yin-tensive’ experience will give you the confidence and understanding to take your Yin practice to a deeper level. An interactive exploration of the major Yin Postures and some simple sequences that are useful for helping lower back pain, neck and shoulder tension and immune function.

12 Key Postural Muscles - March 24th, 2-5pm

An insightful journey into what it really means to have good posture and what typically keeps people from having it.  In this workshop you will:
  • explore areas of the body that affect the alignment of the axial skeleton
  • discover how the practice of yoga helps to shed emotional holding patterns that create dis-ease in the body
  • play with simple yoga postures that bring awareness and vitality to these areas of the body.

Adjusting with Confidence - March 25th, 11am - 6pm

Don't miss this opportunity to take your teaching to the next level! Join Louise for this insightful day of exploring the healing art of adjusting your students effectively. It's highly likely that you missed this valuable information during your 200 hr, and if you're thinking of becoming a teacher this will give you a great head start! 


Course will cover...
1.How to keep your body safe and in alignment while
you adjust your student.
2. How to keep your students safe while you adjust them.
3. The Adjusts (key adjustments for about 20 poses)
4. How to really "see" your students - connect to your intuition when
looking at your students
5. Clearing your energy and setting intentions, before and after every
adjustment - so that the student feels the adjustment is pure and
secure.
6. The dynamics of breath and movement - cueing your students to
breathe while you adjust them and the importance of breathing while
you adjust.
7. Different types of adjustments and when to use them.
8. What to feel for while you are applying pressure - noticing the
receptivity of the student.
9. Adjusting etiquette - when, how and where to use your hands (and
the different parts of your hand)
10. Working with an injured student.
11. Getting permission and feedback from your student.

Teaching with Presence: Continuing Education for Yoga Teachers

This course is meant for individuals who have taken a basic 200 hr training and wish to improve their ability to teach authentically from their heart while utilizing the wisdom of their intuition. It is a course that will open your eyes to many ideas that will take your teaching to a higher level. 


Daily Schedule:
10am-12pm Yoga Practice and Meditation
12-12:30pm Break
12:30-2:30pm Theory
2:30-3pm Break
3-5pm Application

 In this course you will touch on the basics of many important topics, such as how to: 
  • see your students at a deeper level through connecting to your intuition.
  • hold a sacred space for your students.
  • develop your leadership skills through teaching.
  • apply safe, effective and healing hands on assists.
  • take care of your self as a teacher. 
  • grow your teaching business through offering private sessions that will really benefit your students.
  • recognize where the emotional holding patterns are in the body and how they manifest physically. 
  • recognize Yin/Yang deficiencies/excesses in your students. 
  • enhance your presence and ability to connect with your students as a gift to them and yourself.

Yin Yoga Teacher Training Intensive - May 3rd-6th

This gentle practice increases your flexibility, opens your hips, quads, hamstrings, lower back and shoulders and enhances your overall sense of well-being. It is truly a practice in letting go of both the mental and the physical tensions that we store inside. It teaches how to accept what is happening in our bodies and in our lives, while remaining unattached to these experiences.




Who can benefit from this training:
Yoga Instructors, Body Workers, Personal Trainers, Health Care Practitioners and all those who wish to develop or deepen their home practice, or their understanding of this style of yoga.

This 30-hour program includes:
  • An exploration of the Yin Yoga postures and their variations
  • How to work with props and adjust for different body types, including special needs students (injury, pain, other physical predicaments) in a regular class
  • Sequencing of a yin yoga class
  • Meridian Theory as it relates to the yoga poses

The Magical World of Yoga & Horses - May 21st - 25th

This program is designed for individuals who are seeking a greater connection to nature through the way of the horse. Little to no experience with horses is needed as this course offers the very basic skills of groundwork (handling), grooming and riding a horse. The development of these skills are taught using yogic principles which ensures the creation of a meaningful and sacred connection between yourself and your horse. You will notice an enhancement in your overall sense of wellbeing as the week progresses, which is the undeniable gift of physical, mental, and emotional healing that humans receive through interacting with horses.

200 hour Yoga Teacher Training - July 7th - 31st

A unique Yoga Teacher Training Program that will prepare you for a successful career in Teaching Yoga. This 25 day course led by Louise, encompasses 21 days of yoga practice intensives that will allow you to take your practice to a much deeper level, a teacher training program, a 3 day Anatomy Course led by Dr. Isaac Cristoveanu, and a 2 day Business Course led by Mark Laham of www.mindbodywarrior.com. 


What makes this the best training around?

- Trainee's will work with and teach actual students, not just fellow trainee's.
- Video feedback will be given weekly.
- A segment of the program will involve working with animals to improve non-verbal communication, leadership skills and work with the energetics of healing.
