ANA FORREST Day 9- am practice included lots of inversions. Ana uses inversions to turn herself upside down to dump any negative energy out of her body. She loves handstands because they are energizing and help to ground her and nourish her brain. This morning's intention was to find a needy spot in the body and use your practice to; feed if hungry, fill if empty, warm if cold, partner if lonely... I chose my heart. We used our own practice to care for ourselves, in particular, this needy spot. This is important because then you will stop attracting people that perpetuate your neediness. Students may put their teacher on a pedestal and if the teacher believes the, they fall into a big trap. The teacher then thinks they're special & don't have normal human needs, this perpetuates their own neediness even more.

Hi Louise,

I was in your Yin class today. Great and interesting class! I did a post inspired by it today on my BaffinPaddler blog - you may enjoy it. It's all in good fun. I like to find the humour in things. I write about yoga in the outdoors sometimes - actually, more and more!

Cheers. You are an awesome teacher. One of my favourites. I recommend your classes to others all the time.
